Clean water is critical to reduce illness and mortality in Madagascar. We will establish clean water sources in rural communities in the form of wells. The communities we will focus on include Antsiriribe, Antanifotsy, Ambohimandroso, Ambatomiady, Ambatolahy, and Ampitatafika. With the help of partner organizations we will identify ideal locations and obtain materials so that local community members can participate in establishing and maintaining the water supply.
Project goals:
1. Implement our "Sustain Circle Community Development" by providing training and employment for local individuals who will help provide services in their community.
2. Survey the land resources and identify the ideal location for a community well.
3. Assist in developing clean water solutions by digging wells in the communities with partner agencies.
4. Provide education and training for community on clean water supply benefits.
Implementation:
Our plan for implementing the program is to work with partner organizations to supply the expertise and equipment resources required to complete each well.
